Los Angeles Rams Could Be At Home for Super Bowl LVI

Super Bowl LV saw the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeat the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 to be crowned champions at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, the home stadium of the Buccaneers.

It was the first time that a team played a Super Bowl in its home stadium. It might not be too long a wait before such an event is repeated.

Super Bowl LVI is scheduled to be played on February 13, 2022, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The SoFi Stadium just happens to be the home of the Los Angeles Rams. Could they emulate the Bucs in winning the Super Bowl at their own stadium? It’s certainly a realistic possibility.

LA Rams Odds Trimmed

Sportsbetting is legal in the USA in most states, with 22 states currently offering or about to offer in-person and online sports betting, and 3 states currently offering in-person gambling only inside casinos.

For those looking to bet on Los Angeles, the Rams’ betting odds at the start of the 2021/22 season were set at +1200 to win Super Bowl LVI with the popular US offshore sportsbook Bovada.

Those odds have now shortened into +850 having started the season with a perfect 3-0. One of those victories was a 34-24 win over the current champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers so they look to be very strong contenders this year.

The Rams are now clear third-favorites behind the Kansas City Chiefs (+600) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+600) for Super Bowl glory in 2022.

LA Rams Results So Far:

● 26 Sep – Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24-34 LA Rams
● 19 Sep – LA Rams 27-24 Indianapolis Colts
● 13 Sep – Chicago Bears 14-34 LA Rams

Rams Odds to Reach Super Bowl LVI

To win the NFC Conference and book their place in the Super Bowl, the Rams can now be backed at odds +400 (from +550) with Bovada Sportsbook according to the sports-betting info site Vegas-Odds.com, where you can find more live NFL odds, Futures bets and stats on a variety of sports.

The Rams went 10-6 last season, finishing second in the NFC West before eventually losing out to the Green Bay Packers in the divisional round.

Can Stafford Ram It Home?

There is genuine optimism that the Rams can secure a second Super Bowl appearance in four years, particularly after the acquisition of quarterback Matthew Stafford in an offseason trade that saw former No. 1 overall pick Jared Goff, two first-round picks and a third-round pick to the Detroit Lions.

Stafford is seen as a significant upgrade on Goff and there’s a firm belief that the partnership between Stafford and Rams’ coach Sean McVay will be a fruitful one. After Stafford’s impressive start in LA he’s now the new favorite to win NFL’s MVP award at odds of +600.

NFL MVP Award Odds – Top 10 Contenders

● 1. Matthew Stafford +600
● 2. Patrick Mahomes +700
● 3/4. Josh Allen +800
● 3/4. Tom Brady +800
● 5. Kyler Murray +900
● 6. Aaron Rodgers +1000
● 7. Dak Prescott +1200
● 8. Lamar Jackson +1400
● 9. Russell Wilson +1800
● 10. Derek Carr +2500

Best Defense

In addition to the addition of a top QB, it shouldn’t be forgotten that the Rams had the top-rated defense in the league last season.

They may have lost coordinator Brandon Staley to the Los Angeles Chargers, but they will again be able to call upon three of the best defensive players in the game in Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey and Darious Williams.

The season is a marathon not a sprint, but if the Rams continue in the same vein they could well be playing their part in the Big Game at the SoFi Stadium in February, 2022.

Five Ways To Enjoy Watching The NFL At Home

The more things change, the more they stay the same, and while the world is still stuck in the throes of a seemingly never-ending pandemic and we are all waiting to rush toward the light at the end of the tunnel, the one thing that we can depend on to help us get through it is Sunday football.

With the season in full swing, it might seem a little late in the game (you’re going to have forgive us the odd pun, we have been locked in the house for nearly eighteen months) to think of ways to up the football ante, and enjoy the games a little more, but after the couple of years that we’ve all had, we all deserve to smile a little more. That’s why we’ve come up with five easy ways to make your NFL Sundays more enjoyable.

Watch Parties

The lockdowns have started to lift, the restrictions have begun to ease a little bit and while we are still not in the clear by any stretch of the imagination, life is starting to get back to normal. That means that we can spend time with our families again, and we can hang out with our friends, and you know what that means don’t you?

That’s right, it means that you can watch the game with your friends and enjoy some pizza and beer with them again. And even if your best buddies live too far away to turn up in person to watch the game, you can always get them to Zoom in and watch the game with you, or vice versa. Football is always better when it’s enjoyed with a group of friends.

The Full Fan Experience

If you’re anything like us, you’ll miss sitting in the stands surrounded by your fellow fans while swathed in an ocean of your team’s colors. But you don’t have to miss it, you can turn your home into a stadium. Well, sort of.

Hang a flag to the wall behind the TV, put your favorite shirt on, hang those posters, drink some suds from a frosted mug with your team colors on it and pin posters and all of your old shirts to the wall while the game is in full flow. You don’t have to go to the stadium to have a good time, you can bring the spirit of the stadium home with you.

Have A Wager. Or Two…

If you really want to get into the spirit of things, you could always place a bet online and get really involved in the action. It’s legal and it’ll add a little pep to the game, make your heart pump a little faster and you’ll start to feel like you’re actually there and fully immersed in the game.

And the best thing about online betting? You can actually alter your strategy as the game proceeds, and place additional bets if the mood takes you. As long as you’re careful and you don’t get too carried away or crazy, you could put a little extra in your pocket at the same time as your team scores the winning touchdown. After all, isn’t that what football is all about? The rabid, contagious sweet scent of victory? Of course, it is.

Get Involved In Online Fandom

Every single team in the NFL has its own online community, and it only takes a couple of minutes to join and start talking with like-minded people about the games as they’re happening.

It’s an incredibly fun and different way to meet new people, make new friends and enjoy a game with fans who care about it as much as you do, and if the other members of your family don’t enjoy football, it’ll give you an outlet to talk about it with people who do.

Listen, Watch And Observe

Did you ever take a moment or two to listen to the pundits and the commentators and hear what they had to say about the game? Arguing with them (even though they can’t hear you), can be incredibly cathartic and release all sorts of pent-up emotions that you never knew you needed a release valve for.

And sometimes they can also provide additional insight into what’s happening on the field, that you might not have given any credence to or even thought about. Even pundits, like a broken clock, can be right a couple of times a day, you just need to step back and listen to them every now and then. Who knows, they might just help you to see your favorite game in a whole new light…

5 Basketball Players With No Higher Education

Many great basketball players chose to skip college and went straight to the NBA leagues. Here is the list of five successful players with no college degree.

The concept of highschoolers skipping college basketball to play straight in the NBA is not that new as one may think. Even back in the 90s some of the top NBA players were discovered way before they even got a chance to play in college. Of course, most highschool players are not trying to jump over their heads and work hard to get into the college of their dreams. From there, they expect to move straight to the NBA world. However, there have been some lucky examples that showed enough talents even during their school years. After all, why not? Many sports have even younger athletes participate in a major competition. The NBA should not be an exemption.

Here are five famous basketball players with no higher education. They did need it! Their play spoke for itself, and they were hired right after high school graduation.

NBA drafting history

Let’s just start with a quick NBA history note on their drafting policy. Since the beginning, there has been a never-ending discussion on the appropriate age for drafting new players. There were a few cases in history when players were picked right after high school. You can even ask sports writers from essays produced by EssayPro to fill you in on details.

Overall, those cases set an example for the future regulations. Yet, for the past fifteen years the rules have become pretty clear. No high schooler should be drafted right after graduation. There must be at least a year gap period after high school. Also, a person must be at least 19 year old. This rule doesn’t include international players, though. So, usually future young NBA players choose to take one year of college before they get picked by a new team or they go abroad to play in international leagues. Now back to the list.

Lou Williams

Lou Williams decided not to wait till college (rightfully so) and instead declared for the NBA draft back in 2005. Back at the time, he was already among the leading shooting guards across the country. So, it was no surprise that he was picked right away, even though he had just finished high school. Interestingly, the 2005 drafting was the last one with the old rules on high school players. Since 2006, the rules have come into effect, where a person must be 19 years old and there should be a year gap after school graduation. Of course, Williams was already accepted by the University of Georgia, so he could have easily played one year for the college team.

LaMelo Ball

LaMelo Ball also chose professional basketball over a college degree. He made a decision to spend his gap year playing for an Australian team. It was a wise decision by all means. Thus, he showed his maturity, ability to play with those much older than him, and high professionalism. Fair to say, he was picked in the next NBA drafting season. The Charlotte Hornets took a leap of faith and picked the rookie full of potential. Ball didn’t disappoint them.

Darius Bazley

Yet, another talented young player on our list, Darius Bazley, chose to skip college in favor of professional sports. Of course, he couldn’t declare for drafting right after graduation. After analyzing his options (playing for college or going to G-league), he decided to train on his own for the whole year. Fair to say, when the drafting came, he was one of the first picks of the season. Bazley knew what he was doing. A college degree surely wasn't in his top priorities.

Dwight Howard

Dwight Howard was the first choice during the 2004 draft even though he just finished high school. Should we say declaring for drafting was the wise decision on his side? Fortunately, back in 2004, he was able to go straight to the NBA league right after high school. Sure it means that he didn’t get his college degree. However, instead, he has built an excellent career in professional sport. Last year he finally lifted the Larry O'Brien trophy over his head. What a day that was! Basketball was everything he had ever known, and it surely paid off. By the way, if you don’t know the history behind the Larry O'Brien trophy, you should definitely contact writers from scamfighter.net to write you a paper on that. It’s quite an interesting read.

LeBron James

It shouldn’t be hard to believe that LeBron James was that good from the very start. So yes, he didn’t have a chance at avoiding the NBA draft, even if he tried. They were out to get him. Such a talent was impossible to miss, so the league wasn’t willing to give him to any college. Of course, LeBron was happy to oblige. To learn about LeBron’s basketball achievements, you need to file for a real report to a professional writer. So, if you are interested, check out online paper writing service reviews and choose the right writer for the job.

Betting Not Only on High Season

Most bookmakers accept many wagers during the high season. Some punters believe that they cannot make a profit in the low season due to the small number of sporting events available.

Still, you can win a huge payout when betting on infamous leagues. In this post, we discuss low odds on different sports.

Low Basketball Odds

Many regular gamblers who engage in bookie betting believe that basketball is a safe sport to wager on. You will get an advantage when you select low basketball odds. Also, your theoretical odds increase to 50 percent as the sport doesn't have draws.

The actual odds and theoretical odds have a small margin. Besides, basketball is fairer than football, and favorites rarely lose. It is important to follow the latest basketball news and review the favorite team's key players and their current form.

Generally, many basketball leagues have an open transfer window in the whole or most of the season. They change their rosters each week. For example, Israeli, Russian, and Turkish teams have various squads in their national leagues, unlike European tournaments.

Top Euroleague teams like CSKA Moscow and Fenerbahce abide by the “native player rule” that requires them to have six local and foreign players in their squads. Also, some players need to have an obligatory rest.

Low Football Odds

Win-Draw-Win is the most famous betting market in football worldwide. It has three likely outcomes, and each of them has a 33.33 percent probability.

For instance, if Real Madrid plays Valladolid, and a bookie assigns Real 1.25 odds, it shows that Real has an 80 percent winning probability. Yet, it has a theoretical probability of 33 percent.

Double-check all available data when you place a safe soccer wager on low odds. Analyze injury news, motivation, past results, suspensions, and the current squad form.

Avoid relying solely on motivation when picking low odds in the last games of any football league, as weak teams will try to avoid relegation.

They might have few supporters on the last game day despite having high motivation.

For example, FC Barcelona might be determined to defeat Rayo Vallecano despite having 1.10 odds. It is wise to wager on the Spanish giant than on Atalanta as it plays AC Chievo Verona in a relegation playoff.

Compare low-grade opposition against the strong team's past games.

They might have won comfortably in most games or faced stiff competition. Still, some favorites play cautiously when facing teams that are at the bottom of the league table.

Derbies are common in many football leagues. Some are traditional, while others are local.

It is tricky to predict how a derby will end. Typically, bookie betting assign both teams high winning odds, and it is prudent not to wager on derbies if you haven't followed the two team's previous meetings.

Low Tennis Odds

Some beginners dread placing tennis bets. The sport has a risk when you place huge stakes on low odds.

For example, selecting Roger Federer against an inexperienced player is the same in the early stages of any major ATP tournament. Even so, choosing small tennis odds resembles selecting abandoned matches.

The tie isn't void when a top player sustains an injury in a game.

According to most bookmakers, an abandoned match can occur if a player completes the first set, the first game, and the first point.

Some pundits classify odds that are less than 1.70 as low odds, while others pick odds that are less than 1.50. Sports analysts claim that teams with odds less than 1.40 have a higher winning chance than those with over 2.10 odds. Still, unprecedented eventualities like more than one key player receiving a red card or a serious injury can make a strong team lose to an underdog.

Embrace the New Era

Times have changed, and for the better! Bookies are making a fortune right now and it all has to do with the pandemic. Yes, this crazy pandemic changed how bookies do business and it certainly changed how gamblers gamble. The current trend shows that gamblers love the new way of life for them, they can gamble when they choose, and nobody has to know. They are at home, and they love it this way. You must strike right now and make every second count.

● Embrace the change in the bookie business, it’s easy to get bored, to become stagnate, and to simply not care as much as you once did. Why does this happen if you are doing what you love? Easy; it happens because you are working your butt off for little reward. You are a one man show and this gig requires a lot of your time and patience, it also requires longsuffering. You must be nice to people that want to take your money, to people that are demanding, to people that call you at 3:00 AM with a bet for 9:00 PM the next night… You get the picture? This is a bookies world. We have been there. We have been bookies and we have been gamblers and we know what it means to see failure as well as a great deal of success.

● If you want to stay competitive, you will be all things to all people, all of the time. When they want to bet, you had better be available to accept their wager. When they want a better line, then you had better be available to adjust the odds. When they want a payout, and you legitimately owe the money (even if they are not gambling at the moment) you had better be ready to pay them. If they want to talk sports for an hour (as if you have nothing better in the world to do) then you had better talk sports with them and for heaven’s sake, don’t disagree with them. Again, do you get the picture?

● You stay competitive because you are open for business 24/7 and every player on your roster can gamble on their time, not on yours. Give your players an 800-number they can call from anywhere in the United States for free – 24/7, and to boot; speak with a gaming/industry-knowledgeable agent in well-spoken English.

● Give them the best daily lineup with a fantastic user interface that never has downtime. What about a wagering menu? It had better rival any other online sportsbook and yes, we are talking about the biggest online sportsbooks in the world. You may be thinking, why do I need to compete with the biggest online sportsbooks in the world? You don’t and you should never feel as if you must. Then what are we talking about?

● You are not in competition with the biggest sportsbooks in the world for their wealth of players, you are in competition for your players. Your players know a great sportsbook when they see it and they want to bet with them because they are open. You don’t yet have an online presence, and this is killing you.

● Throughout this piece, we have talked as if you are online and operating a sportsbook. You are probably not online but searching for an online presence right now. Find a great pay per head service and be online tomorrow. The pay per head providers do exactly what we have said that you must be doing for yourself. They fight for you; they build you a custom, online sportsbook that includes a racebook and Las Vegas-style casino.

● You say, “ I can’t afford it.” We say, “you can’t afford not to have it.” The PPH is no longer a luxury, it’s no longer unaffordable and any bookie that has even one active client, can absolutely afford the services of a PPH.

The PPH does everything for you. They set the daily events; they offer a fantastic user-interface along with the best wagering menu in the business. They also do the daily grind-it-out work. They accept all wagers; they offer 24/7 customer support… They do it all for around $7 per head. Call a well-known PPH provider and start earning a great income.

There were plenty of results that would have matched NFL expert picks that were discussed before the week kicked off, but there were equally as many upsets on the cards. But before we pick our highlights of the bunch, let’s take a look at Week 1's results first.

The Highlights

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Dallas Cowboys

What a game to open Week 1 of the 2021 NFL season, the reigning champions versus one of the biggest names in American Football, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs the Dallas Cowboys. If it wasn’t already being built up to be a cracking season opener, the game itself had everything you could want and more. The first quarter ended in a 7-7 stalemate, before the Buccaneers would take the lead into the second half.

But then out came the Cowboys with a point to prove and they ended up winning the 3rd quarter to close the gap down to two points. But alas, they couldn’t complete the comeback, as the Buccaneers held out for another stalemate in the 4th quarter that ended 3-3. It was neck and neck, and a nervy finish, but the Buccaneers defense held strong and kept hold of their narrow lead to start the season, and their title defense, with that all important win.

Buffalo Bills vs Pittsburgh Steelers

This was a tie all set up for Josh Allen and the Bills to get their season off to a great start. They were favorites going into the game, and are also one of the top favorites to make the playoffs this year. But the game didn’t go quite to plan, as the Steelers caused a bit of an upset, taking the win 16-23.

Two of the main highlights of the game that helped the Steelers seal the win, were a touchdown throw from Ben Roethlisberger, who managed to send a rocket through the air that Diontae Johnson caught in the end zone. An all important touchdown that put the Steelers into the lead for the first time in the game. But it was what came after that, which would help seal their win.

On a 4th down and desperate to clear the ball up the field as they sat on their own 10 yard line, the Buffalo Bills were all set up to punt the ball. But the Steelers had other plans, as a special team formation saw Miles Killebrew break through the offensive line to make a block, which Ulysees Gilbert would pick up to carry the ball over the line for a second touchdown, all but securing the win and at the time, putting the Steelers 10-20 up.

Las Vegas Raiders vs Baltimore Ravens

The final highlight of the week came from the very last game, which was very much full of mistakes, interceptions, sacks, you name it, it had it. Both teams were really pushing for the win in the game, but ultimately it would be the Raiders who came out on top, but not without being forced into overtime to get the victory.

The Ravens started off incredibly strong, winning the 1st quarter 0-7, and managed another 7 in the 2nd quarter, which saw the Raiders coming back into the game with 10 points of their own on the scoreboard. In the 3rd quarter, the Ravens would further extend their lead by a further 3 points. But the 4th quarter saw the Raiders win 17-10, levelling the score and forcing overtime.

It was then a case of whose offense could get the points first before the clock ran down. And ultimately, it was the Raiders who would secure the victory to kick their season off with a 1-0 record, as they managed to put 6 points on the board, without the Ravens replying. It really was an exciting game that could have easily gone either way. And next week, the Raiders play the Steelers, another team from this week’s highlights, so that should make another exciting game coming up.

Virtual Reality Changing Sports For The Better

When you hear the term “Virtual reality”, the first thing you probably think of is gaming. Video games were the first where “mainstream” VR was a (so far moderate) success, even if the technology has countless benefits in other areas as well. Aside from the countless branches of the entertainment industry, ranging from movies and other experiences to the future casino games at SaClub7, virtual reality can be used in education, medicine, engineering, and even sports. Yes, sports – here’s how.

American football

The NFL and the NCAA love virtual reality. Universities use VR technology to discover new and efficient ways to train their athletes. Solutions provided by STRIVR, a VR company, are used by NFL teams like the New York Jets or the Minnesota Vikings, and college teams like Dartmouth, Stanford, and the Michigan University, among others.

Players wear VR headsets to experience various virtual training scenarios, explore virtual playbooks, and perform practice runs. Even more, psychologists use VR to reduce the players’ anxiety and performance pressure.

Formula 1

Formula 1 is one of the most technologically advanced sports, innovating in everything from materials to engineering. Thus, it shouldn’t be a surprise that it embraces virtual reality as well. As in-season testing has been banned by the organizers, teams now take care of this matter through advanced simulations – and some of them, most notably Mercedes – use virtual reality.

Toto Wolff, team principal at Mercedes, revealed for Wearable.com that the team was building a brand new simulator in 2017 – and pointed out that VR is “the way forward” because, as he put it, “the better you can actually simulate what is happening on the track, the quicker it is going to make you”, and in F1, every fraction of a second count.

And how do they use VR in testing? “The driver sits in the simulator, has the glasses on and drives the car”, Wolff explained. “Rather than staring at the screens, he has the glasses on”. “It's like having a big screen, all the way around, like three-dimensional”, F1 driver Nico Rosberg added. “To practise, the more realistic, the better. We had a simulator that was virtual reality and we used a lot of that to prepare for the actual driving. It's very, very important, it's critical because we're not allowed to test.”

Basketball

Finally, let us mention the way the NBA uses virtual reality to improve the training of their players. It is not used in traditional physical training – they have more than enough sophisticated technology for that – but in the training of the players’ minds.

Back in 2018, the Philadelphia 76ers have used a sophisticated virtual reality program to help Markelle Fultz return to the court. Fultz suffered a shoulder injury just four games into his time with the team, and this threw off his shooting mechanics. The team reportedly used virtual reality training to help him regain his form.

4 Reasons Why Reading Online Casino Reviews Is Necessary

It's no surprise that there are so many online platforms available today, given the popularity of online gambling. People are drawn to these websites because they can play their favorite slot machines and other games anytime they want, without traveling to a famous gambling establishment. In addition, the developers are incorporating the most recent technology advancements to give users an even better experience. In this case, it is critical to verify the legitimacy of a website before registering, mainly because you will be sharing personal information and bank account information. Here are some of the most compelling reasons to read the comments area on any online gaming platform.

1. More Information on Games and Bonuses Is Available

Because each casino is unique and provides customers a variety of fun and benefits, learning about them can assist you in selecting the one that best meets your needs. A good review from a site such as MI online casino list can give you valuable information, which is essential for making an informed decision. By reading the evaluations of a few different casinos, you can compare them and determine which one has the best and most entertaining games and which one has the best bonuses. These are typically the two most significant factors to consider when selecting a trustworthy gambling website, so learning about them can assist you in making an informed decision.

2. Scam Casinos Can Be Identified

You know that the Internet is a fantastic tool that provides you with numerous alternatives and opportunities, including the ability to play online games, gamble, and try to make money, as well as read and learn whatever you want, shop, and pay your bills. There are many possibilities available, and nearly nothing can't be completed online without leaving your house. When it comes to online casinos, you already know that they're a fun way to pass the time while also potentially winning some additional cash, but you should be wary of scam sites. Reading reviews allows you to learn about other people's experiences and perspectives, which can be quite helpful in avoiding scams.

3. Customer Service

A website's absence of customer service is a strong indication that you should avoid it. As a result, you should constantly seek comments where you can learn about other people's experiences. If you notice that many of them complain about a website's lack of help, you should consider alternative possibilities. A phone number, email address, live chat option, and a separate chart where you can leave a review are all required on every website.

4. Compatibility

Another reason to read user reviews of a website is to see if it is compatible with your device. For example, if you're now using your laptop and want to register on a website, see if the site supports mobile devices in case you want to play with your smartphone as well. Furthermore, if no app is available for download, you can see if other users were satisfied with the mobile browser's performance.

It would help if you discovered more about essential aspects that indicate whether a website is trustworthy or not on website reviews, such as the MI online casino list as to whether or not scam casinos can be identified gaining a better understanding of games and bonuses, as well as customer support and compatibility.

Who are the early contenders for the NBA Rookie of the Year?

Pre-season doesn’t even start for another month but already there is plenty of attention on who will be the stars of the season.

Here we look at the new boys as we review the early contenders for the NBA Rookie of the Year award.

Number 5. Scottie Barnes

The Toronto Raptors surprised a lot of people when drafting Scottie Barnes over Jalen Suggs with the fourth overall pick. Barnes isn’t a flashy player but can do everything to a decent level. If that transfers into the NBA then it is something that may end up winning him this award.

In our view, Toronto are a couple of pieces short from contending again; if, however, Barnes can show some decent scoring ability alongside his elite perimeter defense then he could be one of the big pieces they are missing. Team success is important to winning this award and the player and team could help one another out for Barnes to see his name up in lights.

Number 4. Davion Mitchell

Davion Mitchell is a winner; plain and simple. No matter where he ends up, Davion Mitchell carries his team to success. He led Baylor to a national championship and led the Sacramento Kings Summer League team to a championship right after he was drafted.

Mitchell is without a doubt the best defender in the class and has all the tenacity and leadership you want in a guard. He may not get much playing time at the start due to the backcourt of Tyrese Haliburton, De’Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield but when he does, he will show the world how talented he really is.

From there on out, he’ll be a mainstay and could easily compete for the Rookie of the Year award.

Number 3. Jalen Green

It’s little surprise that the number two overall pick in the draft, Jalen Green, features on our list of the early contenders for the Rookie of the Year award. He comes straight out of the G-League and we expect he will quickly become one of the best offensive players in the game.

In the Houston Rockets he is joining a team that is in desperate need of a quality scorer now that James Harden moved onto the Brooklyn Nets.

In just limited time in the G-League and the Summer League, Green averaged over 20 points per game and shot the ball at a high clip. The Rockets might have found their next Harden; if that’s how things work out, Green will make strides towards the number on spot on this list.

Number 2. Jalen Suggs

Jalen Suggs could end up surprising people in the Rookie of the Year race. He fell down a couple spots to the Orlando Magic despite being rumoured to go in the top three; he may have just found himself a perfect spot to set up camp though.

The Magic have a lot of young talent on their roster but really don’t have a leader to bring it all together. Suggs is going to bring just that. He averaged 14.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.9 steals at Gonzaga last year. Combine those stats with an unmatched leadership quality and this Magic team could take a huge leap. If they are able to do it will set up Suggs perfectly for this award.

Number 1. Cade Cunningham

It isn’t a surprise that Cade Cunningham was selected with the number one overall pick in the recent NBA Draft. The young guard/forward combo can do pretty much everything on the floor at a high level. He averaged 20.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists on 40% shooting from behind the arc in just one year in college.

At 6’8 he’ll be far from one of the tallest players in the NBA but he will have the height and length to defend every position; that’s a further string to his bow. With Detroit needing all the help they can get; Cunningham has the perfect opportunity to become a star in just his inaugural season.
