The 2024 Euros was a spectacle on and off the pitch. Fans dazzled us with their devotion and dedication while teams showed the suffering they were made of. After a great display by Spain, they edged out England to take home the trophy. Stadiums are an integral part of football and the stadiums in Germany were on full display during the competition. Many of these stadiums were part of the online fanfare as they were posted and tagged on the picture sharing platform, Instagram. We have curated a short list of the four most instagrammed stadiums below.

Allianz Arena

The Allianz Arena is one of the most iconic stadiums in Germany. It is the home of Bayern Munchen, one of the biggest clubs in the history of the Bundesliga. The stadium has been the home of the last 10 out of 11 Bundesliga trophy wins as Bayern has absolutely dominated the league until they were toppled by Bayer Leverkusen. The stadium has a seating capacity of 75 thousand and was instagrammed a total of 315 thousand times making it top among the most instagrammed stadiums at Euro 2024.

Olympiastadion

Hertha BSC is one of the oldest clubs in Germany and a founding member of the German Football Association. Although they currently play in the second division of the German football pyramid, they have won the Bundesliga 2 times. They have also won the second division of the Bundesliga 3 times making them a top decorated club in the leagues history. The Olympiastadion with its 74 thousand capacity has been home to the club since 1963. It is one of the largest stadiums in Germany based on seating capacity and also one of the oldest. Signal Iduna Park

The Signal Iduna Park is home to one of the most popular clubs in the Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund. It is little surprise that the home of the yellow and black club is the third most instagrammed stadium on this list. The Signal Iduna Park has a seating capacity of 81 thousand is the largest on this Kistler and in Germany. It is befitting of a club that has seen recent success including being runners up of the recently concluded UEFA Champions League where they lost by 2 goals to Real Madrid. The stadium was posted 166 thousand times.

Mercedes-Benz Arena

The Mercedes-Benz Arena might be the smallest on this list, but it bears the name of one of the most recognized German brands. It is the home of VFB Stuttgart, a team that has found recent resurgence and a place in the UEFA Champions League. The stadium has a capacity of 17 thousand which is a pittance when compared to the other stadiums on this list. This does not diminish the 136 thousand times its picture was shared on Instagram.
