When you think of American football, one of the biggest names that would be the first to come to mind would be Tom Brady. Just recently, Brady once again broke the records of NFL history when he led his franchise, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, to its second-ever NFL championship win when they successfully bagged the Super Bowl 55. Brady ended the season not only winning the Super Bowl but also being hailed as the season’s MVP.
Brady led the Buccaneers to a landslide 31-9 victory against the Kansas City Chiefs, ending all of their dreams for the year’s Super Bowl. This win marked Brady’s seventh Super Bowl overall. This means that he holds more Super Bowls under his name than any other franchise in the league’s history so far. This makes him a valuable name even in the 2021 NFL mock draft, as any franchise who would have him under their umbrella is automatically seen as a strong powerhouse. Other record-breaking achievements of Tom Brady include being the oldest quarterback to win a Super Bowl, and being the only player so far to have five MVP trophies.
With all of these in mind, it is no longer a wonder that a lot of people consider Brady to be the GOAT (greatest of all time) of American football. If he is the one for this sport, who are the other athletes considered to be the best or the greatest in their respective sports?
Get to know some of them below.
