2007 (College Football): In the Backyard Brawl, Pitt ends #2 West Virginia's perfect season and shot at the National Championship with a 13-9 victory. The Panthers were a 28½-point road underdog and the game went under the total of 59 points. Freshman Pitt running back LeSean McCoy ran for 148 yards on 38 carries.
2015 (NBA) The Philadelphia 76ers end their NBA record 28-game losing streak with a 103-91 victory over the 2-14 Los Angeles Lakers. The 76ers were a 1-point home favorite as they earned their first victory since the previous season on March 27 when they beat the LA Clippers. The 18-game losing streak to start the season matched the 2009-10 New Jersey Nets for the longest losing streak to start a season. After the win, Philadelphia would go on a 12-game losing streak and finish the season at 10-72. The game also marked Kobe Bryant's final game in his hometown of Philadelphia - he scored 20 points but was 4-for-17 from beyond the arc.
