1986 (Boxing): In a Monday night twin bill at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV - Tommy Hearns knocks out James Shuler in the 1st round to win the NABF middleweight title and Marvin Hagler knocks out John Mugabi in the 11th round to retain the WBA, WBC and IBF middleweight titles. Hearns was a -320 favorite and Hagler was a -370 favorite as both of their opponents entered the fight undefeated. It turned out to be the final win of Hagler's career as he retired after losing to Sugar Ray Leonard a year later.

2004 (NBA): 24-year old Tracy McGrady scores a career high and Orlando Magic franchise-record 62 points in the Magic's 108-99 victory over the Washington Wizards. The Magic covered as a 5½-point home favorite and the game went over the total of 201½-points. McGrady was 20-for-37 from the floor, 5-for-14 from 3-point land, 17-for-26 from the free throw line and had 10 rebounds and 5 assists.
2013 (Golf): Tiger Woods shoots a 1-under 71 and coasts to his 76th PGA Tour victory with a 2-stroke victory over Steve Stricker at the WGC-Cadillac Championship. Woods entered the tournament as the favorite at +900. It was the 2nd of his 5 victories during the 2013 season.
