1966 (Boxing): As a -500 favorite, Muhammad Ali improves to 27-0 after defeating Cleveland Williams by TKO with 1:08 left in the 3rd round. Sports Illustrated's Neil Leifer captured the aftermath with an overhead shot at the Astrodome with one of the greatest sports photos ever taken.


2009 (NBA): Rookie Brandon Jennings sets a Milwaukee Bucks record with 55 points in the Bucks' 129-125 victory over the Golden State Warriors. The Bucks failed to cover as 7½-point home favorites and the game went over the total of 210½-points. The 55 points by Jennings were the most by a rookie since 1968 when Earl "The Pearl" Monroe scored 56 points.


2010 (NFL): David Garrard's Hail Mary as time expires connects with Mike Thomas for a 50-yard touchdown to give the Jacksonville Jaguars a 31-24 win over the Houston Texans. The game was a pick 'em and the game went over the total of 48½-points.
