1977 (NFL): In overtime, the Minnesota Vikings lined up for a 28-yard field goal on 1st down to win the game but to everyone's surprise it ended up being a fake field goal and holder Paul Krause hit Stu Voight for 11-yard touchdown to give the Vikings a 22-16 win over the Chicago Bears. The spread did not come into play, though, as the Vikings failed to cover as 7-point home favorites.

1987 (Boxing): Mike Tyson defeats Tyrell Biggs, winning by TKO 2:59 into the 7th round. Tyson was a heavy -1100 favorite for the fight as he improved to 32-0.

2006 (NFL): The 1-4 Arizona Cardinals blow a 23-3 2nd half lead to the 5-0 Chicago Bears after two defensive fumble returns for touchdowns and rookie Devin Hester's 83-yard punt return for a touchdown with 2:58 remaining in the game gives the Bears a 24-23 victory. Arizona was a 13-point home underdog and the game went over the total of 40½-points. The collapse led to one of the all-time great meltdowns by Cardinals head coach Dennis Green.
