1979 (MLB): The Pittsburgh Pirates become only the 4th team in MLB history to come back from a 3-1 series deficit as they defeat the Baltimore Orioles 4-1 in Game 7 of the Fall Classic. The Pirates were +120 road underdogs for the game and entered Game 1 as +110 underdogs to win the series. Willie Stargell took home World Series MVP honors after hitting .400 during the series and hitting a 2-run homer in Game 7. He became the first player ever to win the MVP in the regular season, LCS and World Series in the same season.


1998 (College Football): 0-6 Temple defeats #14 and undefeated Virgina Tech 28-24. The Owls were 35½-point road underdogs as they overcame a 17-0 deficit in the first half. Temple freshman quarterback Devin Scott had touchdown passes of 67 and 80 yards plus the go-ahead 1-yard touchdown run with 6:04 reamining in the game.


2015 (College Football): After a flubbed punt attempt, Jalen Watts-Jackson's 38-yard fumble return for a touchdown on the final play of the game gives #7 Michigan State a 27-23 victory over #12 Michigan. The Spartans were 7-point road underdogs and +250 on the money line.
