1994 (NBA): David Robinson records the 4th (and still the last) quadruple-double in NBA history in the San Antonio Spurs 115-96 victory over the Detroit Pistons. The Spurs covered as a 15½-point home favorite and the game went over the total of 197 points. He came up 3 blocks short of a quadruple-double just 9 days prior in a victory against the Washington Bullets.

2002 (NASCAR): Entering at +1000 to win the race, Ward Burton wins the 44th Daytona 500. It's the first win for Dodge since Richard Petty won in 1974. Burton led for only 5 of the 200 laps.

2008 (NBA): LeBron James wins the All-Star Game MVP for the 2nd time in 3 years in the East's 134-128 victory over the West. The East covered as a 7½-point favorite and the game went just over the total of 261 points. James was the favorite to win the MVP at +400 as he finished the day with 27 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds.
