1994 (Soccer): At the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California - after a scoreless game, Brazil defeats Italy 3-2 on penalty kicks to win their 4th World Cup title. Brazil was a -240 favorite for the game and entered the tournament as the favorite to win the title at +250.


2011 (Soccer): Japan wins their first Women's World Cup after beating the United States on penalty kicks 3-1. The game was tied at 1-1 after regulation time and then 2-2 after extra time. Japan was a +170 underdog for the match.


2016 (Golf): In one of the greatest final-round duels in major championship history, Henrik Stenson shoots an 8-under 63 to Phil Mickelson's 6-under 65 to win his first grand slam title at the Open Championship. Stenson, who entered the tournament at 30-1 to win the title, finished 20 under par to establish a new Open Championship record. Entering the final round Stenson was the -175 favorite as he held a 1-shot lead over Mickelson, who was shooting for his second Open Championship title.
