2002 (Golf): At Hazeltine National GC in Chaska, Minnesota - American Rich Beem shoots a 4-under 68 to win his first major at the PGA Championship by one stroke over Tiger Woods. Entering the tournament Beem was part of the 'Field' bet at +1500 while 2-time champion Woods was the overwhelming favorite at +150. Wooods birdied the final 4 holes but it was not enough as Beem only needed a bogey on the final hole to win the tournament. Justin Leonard had a 3-shot lead heading into the final round but shot a 5-over 77 and finished tied for 4th.


2006 (MLB): In the nightcap of a day-night doubleheader, The New York Yankees defeat the Boston Red Sox 14-11 in the longest 9-inning game in MLB history clocking in at 4 hours and 45 minutes. The Yankees were +120 road underdogs and the game went over the total of 11 runs. There was a total of 34 hits with a team scoring in 9 of the 18 half-innings. New York would go on to complete a 5-game sweep of the Red Sox in the series.


2016 (Track & Field): At the Rio de Janeiro Olympics - As a -3300 favorite, Jamaican Usain Bolt wins the men's 200m gold medal in a time of 19.78 seconds. He becomes the first man to win both the 100m and 200m in three consecutive Summer Olympics.
