2016 (MLB): The Chicago Cubs win their first World Series championship in 108 years after defeating the Cleveland Indians 8-7 in Game 7 of the Fall Classic. The Cubs were -130 road favorites and the game went over the total of 6½-runs. Chicago was the preseason favorite to win the World Series at +660 and were -190 series favorites against the Indians.
