1962 (NBA): 26-year old Wilt Chamberlain scores an NBA record 100 points for the Philadelphia Warriors in their 169-147 victory over the New York Knicks. No idea what the spread was for the game but I'm going to guess the Warriors covered. Chamberlain went 36-of-63 from the floor and 28-of-32 from the free throw line.
2019 (Tennis): 37-year old Roger Federer notches his 100th career ATP Tour title in Dubai after defeating Greece's Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-4, 6-4. Federer was a -310 favorite for the match as he joined Jimmy Connors as the only males to reach triple digit career wins. It was the 8th title in Dubai for Federer.
