1987 (College Football): Two undefeated Big 8 schools face off in Lincoln as #2 Oklahoma goes on the road to defeat #1 Nebraska 17-7. The Sooners were 5-point underdogs as they held the Cornhuskers to 11 first downs and 235 total yards. OU would go on to lose to Miami (FL) 20-14 in the Orange Bowl and finish #3 in the final AP poll.

2015 (College Basketball): Northern Iowa upsets top ranked North Carolina 71-67 in Cedar Falls. The Panthers were 6½-point home underdogs and the game went under the total of 150 points. Northern Iowa erased a 9-point halftime deficit as they were led by Wes Washpun's 21 points and 8 assists.
