1993 (MLB): Trailing by one with 1 out in the bottom the 9th inning of Game 6 of the World Series, Joe Carter hits a 3-run walk-off homer to give the Toronto Blue Jays an 8-6 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies and clinch their second straight World Championship. The Blue Jays were -150 home favorites and the game went over the total of 9 runs. Carter joined Bill Mazeroski as just the 2nd player to end the World Series with a home run. The Blue Jays entered the season at +600 to repeat at World Series champs.

2000 (NFL): Down 30-7 at the end of the 3rd quarter, the New York Jets score 30 points in the 4th quarter behind Vinny Testeverde's 4 touchdown passes and eventually beat the Miami Dolphins 40-37 in overtime. The 'Monday Night Miracle' turned out to be a miracle push for Jets bettors as the Jets were 3-point home favorites and the game went well over the total of 35 points.

2004 (College Football): As a 24½-point home underdog, Missisissippi State defeats #20 Florida 38-31. Junior Bulldog running back Jerious Norwood rushed for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns, including the game-winning 37-yard TD with 32 seconds left in the game.
