1984 (College Football): On the final play of the game, quarterback Doug Flutie connects with Gerard Phelan on a Hail Mary for a 48-yard touchdown pass to give #10 Boston College a 47-45 win over #12 Miami (FL). The Eagles were 6-point road underdogs.


1991 (College Football): Desmond Howard takes a punt 93 yards for a touchdown and gives a Heisman pose as #4 Michigan destroys #18 Ohio State 31-3. The Wolverines covered as 14-point home favorites as Howard finished with 213 all-purpose yards. He would go on to win the Heisman Trophy Award with the second largest margin in the history of the award.


1991 (NBA): The Sacramento Kings snap an NBA record 43-game road losing streak after defeating the Orlando Magic 95-93. The Kings were 9-point underdogs as Lionel Simmons led the team with 27 points. It was their first road win since November 20, 1990 in Washington.
