1972 (MLB): As a -140 favorite, the National League defeats the American League 4-3 to win the 43rd All-Star Game after Joe Morgan's single scores Nate Colbert in the bottom of the 10th inning. Morgan earned MVP honors as the game would mark the beginning of an 11-game winning streak for the NL.
1990 (MLB): 37 year-old George Brett hits for the cycle for the 2nd time in his career as the Kansas City Royals defeat the Toronto Blue Jays 6-1. The Royals were +130 road favorites.
2015 (MLB) Philadelphia Phillies lefty Cole Hamels throws a no-hitter in their 5-0 victory over the Chicago Cubs. The Phillies were +190 road underdogs as the Cubs were no-hit for the first time since 1965. Hamels, who struck out 13 and walked 2 batters, became just the 3rd major leaguer to be traded before their next start after tossing a no-no when he was dealt to the Texas Rangers before the trade deadline.
