1987 (NBA): In only 37 minutes of play, 24 year-old Michael Jordan sets a then Chicago Bulls record of 58 points in the Bulls 128-113 victory over the New Jersey Nets. The Bulls covered as a 9-point home favorite as Jordan was 16-for-25 from the floor and 26-for-27 from the free throw line.
2006 (Olympics): At the Winter Olympics held in Turin, Italy - Sweden takes home the Gold Medal in Men's Ice Hockey after defeating Finland 3-2. Sweden was a -120 favorite for the game and entered the tournament at +400 to win the Gold Medal. Nicklas Lindstrom broke a 2-2 tie as he scored the game-winning goal 10 seconds into the 3rd period and goalie Henrik Lundqvist held Finland scoreless the rest of the way.
2012 (Golf): At the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship - American Hunter Mahan defeats Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland 2&1. Mahan was a +150 underdog for the match and entered the tournament at 40-1 to win the title.
