1986 (MLB): Dick Schofield's 2-out walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the 9th caps an 8-run inning in the California Angels 13-12 come from behind victory over the Detroit Tigers. The Angels were -160 home favorites.


1992 (Boxing): James Toney improves to 33-0-2 and retains the middleweight title after defeating Jamaican Mike McCallum in a 12-round majority decision. Toney was a -200 favorite for the fight which was a rematch of a fight 5 months prior that ended in a draw.


2002 (MLB): In the 10-run 4th inning of the Chicago Cubs 13-10 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers, Mark Bellhorn joins Carlos Baerga as the only players in MLB history to homer from both sides of the plate in the same inning. The Cubs were -170 road favorites.
