2002 (MLB): The New York Mets set a National League record by losing their 15th straight home game after a 3-2 loss to the Florida Marlins in the first game of a double header. The Marlins were +140 underdogs as the streak would come to an end in the nightcap as the Mets were -150 favorites and won 11-5.
2005 (College Football): As a 26½-point road underdog, TCU upsets #7 Oklahoma 17-10. The Horned Frogs limited the previous year's Heisman Trophy runner-up Adrian Peterson to only 63 yards on 22 carries.
2006 (Tennis): 8-time Grand Slam winner Andre Agassi plays the final match of his career as German Benjamin Becker wins 7-5, 6-7, 6-4, 7-5 in the 3rd round at the US Open. Becker was a +240 underdog for the match as Agassi finished his career with 60 titles and a record of 870-274.
