1992 (Boxing): Lennox Lewis improves to 22-0 after beating Donovan "Razor" Ruddock by TKO 46 seconds into the 2nd round. Lewis was a +180 underdog for the fight held at Earl's Court in London, England.


1999 (NFL): The expansion Cleveland Browns earn their first win of the season after Tim Couch's 56-yard Hail Mary connects with Kevin Johnson to give the Browns a 21-16 victory over the New Orleans Saints. The Browns were 9½-point road underdogs and the final touchdown moved the game over the total of 33½-points.


2001 (MLB): In Game 4 of the World Series, the New York Yankees became the first team in 72 years to come from behind in the 9th inning and go on to win in extra innings as they defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-3 in 10 innings to tie the series at 2-2. The Yankees were even money home underdogs and the game stayed under the total of 7½-runs. Tino Martinez tied the game with a 2-run, 2-out homer in the bottom of the 9th and Derek Jeter hit a walk-off solo shot at the stroke of midnight in the 10th inning.
