1968 (Boxing): Joe Frazier defeats Buster Mathis by TKO in the 11th round to win the vacant NYSAC heavyweight title. The 24-year old Frazier was a -200 favorite as he improved to 20-0. Mathis had beat Frazier twice in their amateur career - the only 2 losses in Frazier's amateur career.
2012 (Golf): Rory McIlroy shoots a 1-under 69 to win the Honda Classic by 2 strokes over Tiger Woods and Tom Gillis. McIlroy entered the tournament as the favorite at +800 to win the title. Woods started the day 9 back as he shot an 8-under 62 in the final round.
