1992 (NFL): With a 38-6 victory over the Dallas Cowboys, the Detroit Lions win their first (and still only) playoff game since winning the NFL Championship in 1957. The game was a pick 'em and went over the total of 43 points. Detroit quarterback Erik Kramers threw for 341 yards and 3 touchdowns. They would lose 41-10 the following week in the NFC Championship to the eventual Super Bowl champion Washington Redskins.


2003 (NFL): Trailing 38-14 midway through the 3rd quarter, the San Francisco 49ers score the final 25 points of the game and defeat the New York Giants 39-38 in an NFC Wild Card game. The 49ers failed to cover as 3-point home favorites and the game went way over the total of 41 points. San Francisco quarterback Jeff Garcia ran for 60 yards and one touchdown and passed for 331 yards and 3 touchdowns, including the game-winner to Tai Streets with one minute left in the game.


2019 (NBA): The Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings combine to make 41 3-pointers to set an NBA record in the Warriors 127-123 victory. The Warriors failed to cover as 7½-point road favorites and the game went over the total of 238½-points. Warriors guard Stephen Curry connected on 10 3-pointers as 7 different players made at least 3 shots from beyond the arc.
