1990 (College Football): #12 Colorado defeats Missouri 33-31 after the referees accidentally gave the Buffalos an extra down that allowed them to score the go-ahead touchdown on 5th down. Colorado was a 17-point road favorite as they would go on to be co-National Champions with Georiga Tech.
1990 (College Football): Stanford wins their first road game in nearly 3 years as they defeat #1 Notre Dame 36-31 and snap the Fighting Irish's 19-game home winning streak. The Cardinal were 18-point underdogs as fullback Tommy Vardell had four 1-yard touchdowns - including the go ahead score with 36 seconds left in the game. Notre Dame nearly won the game on the final play of the game but tight end Derek Brown couldn't hold on to quarterback Rick Mirer's pass.
2007 (College Football): As a 39-point road underdog, Stanford upsets #2 USC 24-23. Mark Bradford's 10-yard touchdown catch from Tavita Pritchard with 49 seconds left and subsequent extra point gave the Cardinal their first lead of the day.
2010 (MLB): Roy Halladay pitches only the 2nd no-hitter in MLB playoff history as the Philadelphia Phillies defeat the Cincinnati Reds 4-0 in Game 1 of the NLDS. The Phillies were -200 home favorites and the game went under the total of 7 runs. Halladay struck out 8 batters and only allowed one runner when he walked Jay Bruce with 2 outs in the 5th inning.
