1988 (Boxing): Sugar Ray Leonard returns to the ring after a 17-month layoff and wins by TKO 2:30 into round 9 against Donny LaLonde. Leonard was a -300 favorite as he joined Tommy Hearns as the only boxer to be a 5-weight world champion.


1998 (College Football): After trailing 24-9 midway through the 3rd quarter, Michigan State rallies back to beat previously unbeaten #1 ranked Ohio State 28-24. The Spartans were 27½-point road underdogs. It was the only loss of the season for the Buckeyes as they would finish #2 in the AP poll.


2020 (College Football): As a 27½-point road underdog, Maryland beats Penn State 35-19. The Terrapins were 14-1 on the money line as quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa threw for 282 yards and 3 touchdowns.
