2000 (NFL): In an AFC Wild Card playoff game, the Tennessee Titans pull off the "Music City Miracle" to defeat the Buffalo Bills 22-16. The Titans covered as a 4.5-point home favorite and the game stayed under the total of 39 points. Buffalo took a 1-point lead with 16 seconds left after a Steve Christie 41-yard goal but could have ran out more clock as they kicked the field goal on 3rd down. On the ensuing kickoff Lorenzo Neal handed the ball off to tight end Frank Wycheck who then threw it to the other side of the field to Kevin Dyson. 75 yards later the Titans regained the lead and moved on to the next round. They would go on to reach Super Bowl XXXIV only to come up a yard short to the St Louis Rams and lose 23-16.
2011 (NFL): In an NFC Wild Card game, the Seattle Seahawks defeat the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints 41-36. The Seahawks, who were the 1st division winner to have a losing record (7-9) in the regular season, were a 9½-point home underdog and the game went over the total of 45½-points. Seattle quarterback Matt Hasselbeck passed for 4 touchdowns and running back Marshawn Lynch ran for 131 runs and a game-clinching 67-yard touchdown run with 3:22 remaining in the game.
2012 (NFL): On the first play of overtime, Tim Tebow connects with Demaryius Thomas on an 80-yard touchdown pass to give the Denver Broncos a 29-23 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in an AFC Wild Card game. The Broncos, who won the AFC West with an 8-8 record, were a 7½-point home underdog and the game went over the total of 34 points. It was the longest play to end a a playoff game in overtime and the quickest ending to an overtime game in NFL history (11 seconds). Thomas finished with 4 catches for 204 yards while Tebow threw for 316 yards, 2 touchdowns and ran for 50 yards and 1 touchdown.
