Sportsoddshistory : Today, we have one of the strongest people on the planet with us. A multiple-time World and European Champion, a PRO athlete, the Olympia Pro Powerlifting and Arnold Sports Festival Champion. Winning the Olympia is the pinnacle of strength sports, and competing at the Arnold Classic puts you among the elite. What is it like to be among the best and to reaffirm your status at every competition?
Stanislau: It’s a great honor and responsibility. The Olympia and Arnold Classic are the most prestigious competitions in the world of strength sports, and winning them is proof of years of hard work, discipline, and total dedication. But the sport is constantly evolving, and I always strive for new achievements.
Sportsoddshistory: Recently, you competed at the USPA Seminole Strength Showdown 7 in Tallahassee, where you not only took first place but also won the title of the strongest athlete in the raw bench press. Tell us about the competition.
Stanislau: Thank you! Yes, on March 22, I competed in this event and put up a 240 kg (529 lb) bench press, which earned me both first place and the title of the strongest athlete in the competition. The event was at a high level, with excellent organization and atmosphere. For me, it was another important step in my career, reaffirming my form and competitiveness.
Sportsoddshistory: In addition to competing, you also served as the head referee. Was this your first time judging?
Stanislau: That’s right, I was the head referee at this competition. I have significant experience in judging — not only in WRPF Belarus but also in the U.S. This was actually my second time officiating in the U.S., but this is the first time in the U.S. as the head referee, which, of course, added a new level of responsibility. Judging is an important part of the sport’s development, and I am committed to improving in this role.

Sportsoddshistory: How different are the rules between federations, and how difficult is it to switch between them?
Stanislau: The core principles remain the same, but each federation has its own specific rules. For example, bench press standards can vary—some have stricter lockout requirements, while others have different standards for judging attempt quality. It’s crucial to study and understand these differences, especially when competing or judging across different organizations. Recently, I also earned the right to officiate in the WPC federation in the U.S., which opens up new opportunities for my professional growth in this area.
Sportsoddshistory: That’s impressive! You’re not only reaching new heights as an athlete but also progressing in the officiating field. How do you manage to balance so many roles?
Stanislau: The key is proper planning and passion for what you do. I’ve been in sports my entire life, and for me, it’s not just a job or a hobby — it’s a way of life. I want to not only break new records but also contribute to the growth of powerlifting, support other athletes, and elevate judging standards. It’s a big responsibility, but also a great pleasure.
Sportsoddshistory: What are your future plans? What would you like to achieve in the coming years?
Stanislau: First and foremost, I’m focused on improving my performance, getting even stronger, and maintaining my status as one of the top powerlifters in the world. Every competition is an opportunity to push my limits, break new barriers, and showcase my best.

In addition, I want to keep growing as an official. My goal for the next five years is to earn the status of an international-level judge. Officiating is not just a major responsibility—it’s a way to contribute to the growth of the sport on a global scale. For me, it’s an important mission, and I’m ready for the challenge.
Sportsoddshistory: Thank you for the conversation! I’m sure more victories and achievements await you. We’ll be following your journey closely!
Stanislau: Thank you! I’ll be happy to keep inspiring my supporters with new records!
